Belgium - 1945

'BRUXELLES 6 III 1945' to Greenisland, Northern Ireland with Belgium censorship label tied by numbered handstamp '298' in circle.

Bilingual censor label in French & Flemish: 'CONTROLE DES COMMUNICATIONS / TOEZICHT DER VERBINDINGEN'

Belgian censorship only operated for a short time before German occupation in 1941.

Following liberation, censorship was performed by British and American censors and this activity was transferred to Belgium authorities in 1944. It continued until well after the was ended.

Denmark - 1945

Denmark, July 23,1945, to England.

Danish censorship AFTER liberation.

Airmail cover franked 55 øre, with Danish censor label 'Udlandspostkontrollen (Crown) Danmark' tied by violet circular handstamp '(Crown) / 402 / DANMARK'.
