1933 Irish Zeppelin acceptance
1933 (Aug 2) registered Irish acceptance airmail cover Dublin to Rio de Janeiro with 1s 3 1/2 d in definitives, per Graf Zeppelin 4th South America Flight with red and orange flight hs, fine and scarce.

1939 "Centurion" crash cover 1939 (June 10) cover Rangoon to Dun Laoghaire with *** SALVAGED MAIL/EX CENTURIO hs in red, (missing N). On reverse MP480 paper seal “COVER FOUND OPEN etc.” with DUN LAOGHAIRE cds of June 23 1939, stamp floated off and slight crash damage as usual. Imperial Airways “Centurion” crashed into Hoogly River at Calcutta, June 12 1939. Vogt C.390612.1.

1954 KLM crash at Shannon
1954. (Sept) front only Pakistan to New York addressed to Consul General, with *** (SALV)AGED FROM KLM CRASH AT SHANNON in black, one stamp missing, good. KLM Super Constellation “Triton” crashed immediately after take-off into mud flats in the Shannon estuary. 20 bags of mail were salvaged Vogt A. 540905.1.
